Heart Personified

When you feel as though you can't go on and wish to raise your hands to surrender, when you feel frustrated that what's before you is beyond your capabilities, and even if we ultimately come with nothing, having to face defeat with empty hands, I wish, by your side, there will always be me.

There is no darkness darker than itself but perhaps a light brighter than its true self. I wish to show it you someday but it is only a glow within.  A crumb to begin with that evenly spreads to the dazzle of a wholesome day, conquering every dark corner with a hopeful glow and drowning to its depth every possible reason of grief; the moment I see contentment in colors and sounds of a soulful laughter, befall your full moon face. And precisely then, in all my life, I know my soul bathing in things brighter than the light itself. In my consciousness, I call it Happiness.
