Recent Apps

Sitting on the bed, I was engrossed in my laptop. I had just finished my morning study routine. It was leisure time now, I went through the news, while music played. Numerous thoughts were being processed and stored in the mind all at once. It’s similar to the “Recent Apps” menu on cell phones. Several apps are running in the memory, in the background. Right now I was sure about three of them. One was the news, White House unfollowed six Indian Official’s Twitter accounts including the Prime Minister, the PMO and the Indian President. Second was Youtube, where songs were being played from 'Recommended'. And third was You.

The song “Shayad” from Love aaj kal 2 was about to end, I went to hit ‘next’ to “Yeh Dooriyan.” I must say I disliked it previously, but eventually it grew on me. On the other side, they explained,"during the time of a presidential visit, the account typically follows for a short time, the host country's officials to retweet their messages in support of the visit." Which seemed convincing, they did that before with other countries too, it’s their policy. I was wondering what on earth You would be doing, sleeping still or awake. Would You be okay? Will You unblock me in Whatsapp? Can we talk? 

Given the circumstances right now, I felt I should make the song my caller tune, “Yeh Dooriyan” had great lines which intersected the situation perfectly. I don't know about others but Rahul Gandhi seemed pretty worried about the whole situation. He expressed his dismay about the ongoing follow-unfollow farce and suggested the Ministry of External affairs take note of it. While going at it, I was hit by “Should I bother my best friends today? It’s Sunday. They deserve a break from my regular 'Me-You' bull-shit.” Then I opened a fourth app, looked into the caller tunes on Wynk, yeah they had that song and I went for it. 

So after setting my new caller tune I cleared both Wynk and Youtube from the memory, even the news read was over, crossed it too. I was left with only one thought, couldn't clear it though due to some 'Bug' in the system. I decided to open the Document and pen down a few things...
