More Quiet than it was Before

There was no electricity in the house, the Sun was about to set, it was getting Dark, the surroundings were still Cold due to the heavy downpour last night. As I was sitting in the Dark, lonely corner of the room, Spotify was playing songs on the bluetooth speaker that was kept at some distance, on a table. I was gazing outside the window across the room, quietly. Watching the trees, a distant lit street lamp and a small portion of Dark violet Sky. A song queued and started playing.

"Mere Bina main, rehne laga hoon
Teri hawaon mein, behne laga hoon
Jaane main kaise, Tera hua hoon
Mujhe to lagta hai main shayad tere dil ki dua hoon,
Tujhko jo paaya, Toh jeena aaya..."

Suddenly it felt that those lyrics and the acoustic tune of the song matches my mood perfectly. As the lyrics went on, it unfolded a lot of memories along with it. Memories that were once the most beautiful reality. Memories that were still crossing my mind everyday. My mouth dried up, eyes blinked as the trees blurred, the distant street lamp blurred to a dim light flare, and the Dark violet Sky turned to just Dark. A Cold, damp breeze blew in through the window that sent a shiver through the body. Gradually the room felt more quiet, quieter than it was already. No, the songs  continued to play. I guess my heart just grew more quiet than it was before.

  1. Why do you even love if it hurts so much?

    1. Cause you start loving the hurt too. Also, unless you feel hurt how can you understand the depth of your emotions.

    1. With the same person? Yes. With someone else? Yes. Its about what you choose. Sure love is a feeling and it will grow how we "choose" to nurture it.

    2. Love is not a choice. Relationship is. We love everyone around. It's just all different kind. All you need to choose is with whom you want to spend the rest of your life.
